World Highest Sky Boat in Beijing

The signing and ground breaking ceremony for Beijing Sky Boat was held in Beijing Chaoyang Park a few days ago. The world highest Ferris wheel, which is the representative architecture of Beijing Olympic Games, was officially settled down in the park.

This Beijing Sky Boat, 208 meters high for sight viewing, is the large-scale transportable construction of steel structure. Its wheel diameter is approximately 198 meters, so 1,920 people can be carried simultaneously. It is estimated that the Sky Boat will be operated before Beijing Olympic Games. Both its height and scale are the best of all similar constructions in the world. After the completion of the constructing, it will be the representational sight seeing construction in Beijing during the 2008 Beijing Olympics to warmly welcome the tourists from all over the world.
