The Great Observation Wheel, Beijing, is one of China's most prestigious government supported tourism projects, comprising a giant observation wheel with supporting commercial facilities to be built in Beijing's Chaoyang Park. Opening is scheduled for 2010.

Chaoyang Park is located to the northeast of the city centre and is on the East Forth Ring Road. This is the main route from the city to the airport. The park has a total area of 320 hectares and is approximately 2.8 kilometres long, 1.5 kilometres wide.
